I honestly love this restaurant so much. It's my favorite Chinese food out of Chinatown, heck it even beats out some of them.

Always go for the combination meals, it's a huge portion of a delicious entree and egg fried rice, with a side of crab Rangoon or an egg roll. It's $8.50 and worth well over that.

The inside of the restaurant also makes for a great date spot. If you're single just bring your friends with a case or some wine and enjoy the fact that it's BYOB BITCHESSSS.

    Love this place. Byyeeee.

Most of the food I have tried is very good, kudos to the cooks.

Service is sometimes spotty, and could be improved.

But be informed and warned, this business is still charging its customers a sweetened beverage tax.

Check your receipts "before you pay", if you see such a tax, explain to them that this tax has be repealed, it's illegal for them to continue to charge this tax, and ask them to kindly remove this tax from your bill!

Great place for some good Chinese-Szechuan food! They even open until 2AM so that's def a plus if you have some cravings during the ungodly hours. The interior seems to still be very new and very stylish. The service was lackluster but we did stumble in at around 1AM.

We ordered the Salt and Pepper String Beans, Szechuan Eggplant, and the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce. TL;DR, everything was very delicious!

The String Beans were at a perfect texture, slightly crisped on the outside and tender on the inside as thought it was coated and cooked in oil with a very high heat-typical Chinese style. The flavor was perfection-not too salty at all and paired well with rice.

The Szechuan Eggplant was very tender as well and not too spicy despite all of the chili peppers that you see. It's more of the numbing spicy. The sauce wasn't too overwhelming and the eggplant had a good flavor.

The Sizzling Beef was definitely breathtaking, as it's presence and sizzling sound was all that was seen and heard as it made its way onto the table. The beef was soooo tender and juicy! The sauce was at a good peppery Level that didn't make you sneeze or cough upon ingestion.

They've become even more Americanized since the last time I went.  Now the Mapu tofu with ground pork on the menu comes out with a few slivers of chicken and no pork whatsoever- when I complained the chef just shrugged and said that's how Americans like it - at least change the menu!

Some friends of mine live near ML Kitchen and suggested I go here for Chinese food. It is a nice, date I say trendy, Chinese restaurant in a popular area. I would also note that it is a lot cleaner than most Chinese restaurants I have been too.

What I ordered: I saw that if you checked in on yelp, you got a free appetizer. They were all out of the app they were advertising so they brought crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was some of the best I have had in Chicago! For my meal I got the orange tofu combo. (Like orange chicken, but with tofu instead.) It came with rice and crab Rangoon! I enjoyed the meal a lot. The portions were big so I was able to take some home as leftovers.

I would like to come back sometime to try a smoothie and for some more crab Rangoon!
